Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Woman on Attempted First-Degree Murder Charge

The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Johnna Lynn Miracle, 48, of Harrogate, who is wanted for attempted first-degree murder following an incident at a Harrogate residence on Wednesday. On Friday afternoon, she was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s (TBI) Most Wanted List.

An arrest warrant for Miracle, who also goes by the names “Johnna Lynn Janis” or “Jlynn,” was issued around 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Later that evening, at 6:09 p.m., the TBI released an additional photo of Miracle and announced her addition to its Most Wanted list. The TBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to her arrest.

The charges against Miracle are connected to an incident that occurred on August 28 at a home on Leeds Street in Harrogate. Authorities have warned that Miracle may be armed with a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Johnna Lynn Miracle’s whereabouts is urged not to approach her. Instead, they should contact Claiborne County E911 dispatch at 423-626-1911, call 911, or reach out to the TBI.
