Three Individuals Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting of Greeneville Teen

Authorities have arrested three individuals in connection with the tragic shooting of 18-year-old Charles Dabney, a resident of Greeneville.

The Johnson City Police Department report confirms that Tyron Bland (34) of Greene County and Jayden Smith (19) of Asheville have been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment following the incident near Majestic Park on Sunday.

Smith and an accomplice, Katy Scruggs (22), were arrested on Wednesday. Scruggs is facing charges of being an accessory, and police are preparing to extradite her from Asheville.

The investigation is ongoing, and police expect more charges to follow as new developments arise.
