School Threats Lead to Juvenile Arrest in Washington County

Following several false school threats on social media after the Apalachee High shootings in Georgia, a Washington County, VA student has been charged with four counts of making death or serious injury threats. The threats included aerial images of schools with disturbing sound effects.

In response, law enforcement increased their presence at John Battle High, High Point Elementary, E.B. Stanley, and Wallace Middle Schools. Authorities are taking all threats seriously to ensure student safety.
